Re: Satnav no postcode search grrrr

Hi Dudley. I feel for your frustration. However, I think it might be possible. I have a 2024 Kona so the software may be different. But you may like to try the following. First I tried the Bluelink app. In that, I just put a postcode into the search box, it showed me to the correct location and offe...

Re: Bluelink - remaining range shown in km.

Thanks both, for your replies.

Beta_Tester, did they say which software? As the problem seems to be with the Bluelink app, I assume it is that, that needs fixing. Neither my infotainment software nor the Bluelink app seem to have been updated for some time.

I will wait in hope....

Bluelink - remaining range shown in km.

Hi All. Trying to find out if anyone with a recent Electric Kona can get their Bluelink app to reliably show the remaining range in miles. I would be grateful for responses whether you are getting the range shown in miles or kilometres, as this should help me find a way to get mine to work properly ...

Re: Do i need a MyHyundai account to use API for Ohme

Hi Blader1611. Don't worry the Octopus Ohme link doesn't work yet. 😞 I tried, gave it all the permissions it asked for, despite my better judgement, but it did not work. They promised me they would let me know when Octopus and Ohme had sorted it out. I have heard nothing since. I just tell Ohme that...

Re: Over The Air (OTA) software updates on a new Electric Kona.

Hi MarkR

If you scroll to the bottom of the screen that shows the software version there should be two sliders that allow OTA updates. Make sure that both are moved to the right, then it should work if you are in an area with a good mobile signal.

Are yours to the right or left?

Re: New Remote Functions Kona HEV

Not sure about the HEV but using the Electric Kona my Bluelink app allows me to defrost and warm/cool seats. They appear under Remote/Climate settings.

I hope that helps.

Re: Digital key ?

Apparently not.

I had not been previously aware of UWB and am not sure whether if it had UWB it would also work merely in the vicinity of the car. However, even without, it has been useful.

I hope that helps you.

Re: Digital key ?

I have set up my phone as a digital key on my all electric 2024 Kona. I have not tried to use the credit card type card but assume it works in a similar manner. Unlike the normal key which only has to be on your person as you approach the vehicle, to work, the phone has to be placed against the sens...

Re: Frost meltdown !

I had 5 sensor and systems failures reported while on the motorway, in the snow, on Tuesday. But the car kept going and after I stopped and wiped the snow off the sensors all seemed fine. I must say that the front of the new Kona does not seem well designed to cope with snow and I wonder how I would...
