I tried with the dealer, they've said it's wear and tear, think the fact that the stitching has split and the foam is visible is pretty bad for 64k miles, but they won't even entertain it.
Here's a pic of what to expect.

Seat Wear Kona 1.0 Premium 62k miles
Noticed my seat is showing signs of wear that could deteriorate fast, the stitching has split and the foam is visible. I have bought a cover in an attempt to stop this but that is useless, shame as it looks like it's not covered in the warranty  Anyone else done this many miles and had this is...

Re: Navigation Options
Can anyone confirm if the sat nav posts information on the heads up display? The HUD will mirror the information that you can see on the Speedo display, it won't show information from navigation systems found on Android auto or apple car play (or Google maps or Waze) but it will show navigation fro...

Re: Audio Interuption
It looks like a Bluetooth issue, probably won't fix it without a hard reset of your phone or just get a new one. All I would say is your set up seems over complicated and you need to embrace android Auto, 3 main reasons for this are you lose sound quality with Bluetooth streaming, the TomTom navigat...

Re: Radio logo ?
Does anyone know how to delete a radio favourite? Not sure they can be deleted but you just add a new one by selecting add favourite and tapping on the one you want to swap it with... If my memory serves me right that is! There may well be a way to delete favourites bit I've never felt the need to ...

Re: Low fuel?
The warning light comes on at around 25 miles left to empty, you will also get a notification on the head unit to ask if you want to find the nearest petrol station. From my experience the mileage estimation to empty is pretty accurate, I'm on 17k miles in the first year so have been filling up quit...

Re: Email update from Hyundai for those waiting for a new Kona EV
Strange, I saw a test on YouTube and I'm pretty sure they beat the 300 mark! 279 is still pretty impressive, can't see many cancelling unfortunately for you, it'll be a few years before I make the switch to EV though!

Re: Naming a Kona SE.
Pretty sure you can't rename it on the Kona, you can rename it on your phone in the Bluetooth settings but that will only be for that device, each new device will see it as a Kona, if I remember tomorrow I will double check this in the settings of the car for.
