Kona Electric recall U.K.🇬🇧

Just receive a letter today from Hyundai U.K. recalling my Kona Electric due to a fire risk. Have been advise to park in the open with a good space left around it. Seems there’s been a few batteries catch fire, but in the scheme of things not that many compared to the number sold, so not too worried...

Re: Auto Hold and lane assist

I those who complain had ever driven an automatic ICE they would know that the creep is exactly what the do when one take ones foot of the brake, it very useful in slow moving traffic and can be stopped by pulling up the left paddle or switching it of before you drive. The lane keep assist warning i...

Re: Blue Link Application in Europe

I to would have liked the blue link app and feel it very remiss of Hyundai to leave it off. I fear neither of us will get it as it’s only available in other countries, America ect, cars. I also was told the bits required to connect blue link aren’t in our cars. Oh, by they way you live in one of the...

Re: Spare Wheel For Kona Electric

I’ve been wondering about that too, I don’t think the weight of a spare would make all that much of a difference to the car. It’s just getting a spare thats suitable, I’ve looked on line and there seems to be plenty just haven’t checked them out yet although I might ask at the Hyundai dealer.

Re: Front Parking Sensors

Hi I would of thought there must be a way of turning them on by default it seems crazy not to allow you to do that because as you say you can very easy forget and with the charging port being in the front it makes it even more of a need I’d of thought they would of considered that but then again? T...

Re: Front Parking Sensors

As has been posted already the central console has a switch to turn the front sensors on, or if you go into reverse first. There’s no way to switch them on permanently, which makes sense, as if they were on all the time, in slow moving traffic they would be forever warning you. In my opinion! Hyunda...

Re: Auto Hold and lane assist

Lane keep assist can be turned off with a press of a button, as for auto hold I think Hyundai have got it right! If you were used to driving a full auto then you’ll know that they creep, very useful in slow moving traffic. With the Kona a quick pull on the left paddle after stopping will put the car...
