Re: Considering buying a new one!

I'll bite. Being labelled a spammer has probably scared anyone into not replying, why mention it? we didn't know. Second, you finances are your own. Financial advice should come from a recognised body. Third. Hyundai's policy is to only offer specifically specced models, no options. Kia do the same ...

Re: Alternative routes option on sat nav.

I'm led to believe the Hyundai system is TomTom based so I would have thought it would offer alternatives, not in the Google way (grey line with time difference) but in a 'Hey, this is a quicker route, do you want to save five minutes?' kind of way. However, I can't be sure because Google Maps via a...

Re: Vehicle tracker

I did use Vesselfinder.com but had to work out which ship my car was on by what the dealer told me about when it was due into Harwich. From that information I found the ship that was due from Ulsan. Once you have the ship's name tracking it is the easy part! Obviously this only works if you're not h...

Thanks for the input, I am not aware that my adaptive cruise control should adjust its speed according to sign posts (or sat nav data). Anyone know different?

Another Cruise Control Fault

My car is a Hybrid Premium SE and I paid extra for adaptive cruise on a 2019 model Just recently the set speed on the cruise control, which has been set for motorway speeds suddenly 'adjusts' itself to 47 mph. Obviously on a motorway this means the car brakes itself as it suddenly finds itself doing...

Re: Kona Gen 5 Sat Nav October 20 update changes

Just in case anyone is interested, this update did not solve the issue of Android Auto being 'broadcast' in 4:3 ration which means it fails to fit the widescreen
Apple Carplay continues to fill the full screen making the mapping twice as large.

Re: Kona Gen 5 Sat Nav October 20 update changes

I have my car booked in to receive the upgrade next week. When booking it in, I asked why it hadn't been uploaded when I was in for the recent recall. Apparently it is only done when asked for!!

Re: Kona Gen 5 Sat Nav October 20 update changes

Thanks for the information, if it is not too much trouble could you check to see if Android Auto has gone full screen (like CarPlay)?
