Bluelink app with new owner.

I have recently sold my Kona EV and the new owner is having trouble 'pairing' the app to the car. It won't recognise the QR code or VIN number. I have deleted the app from my phone, but maybe I should have removed the info from it first, I'm not sure :(

Has anyone else come across this?

Re: Aux. Battery Flat unable to operate any electrics.

Hi Lory, that must have been frustrating :x I've had a similar experience with the 12v battery failing, but it was during covid lockdown and the car had sat for over a week. It had the dashcam plugged in and that flattened it.My own fault, the AA man came promptly and 'jumped started' it and all was...

Re: Granny charger

Hello and welcome :) . The only thing I could think of would be the consumer unit, is it up to date or not :?: Does it have a breaker suitable for the wiring. I live in a converted rural primary skool that dates from circa 1850's and this ain't going to fall down :D

Re: Regeneration Braking how do you use it?

Hello Mike, It's working as it should :) As you take your foot off the accelerator pedal the car should slow down, just like the deceleration you get with an ICE using the engine as a brake. The paddles behind the steering wheel increase/decrease the regen braking effect. Flick the left paddle towar...

Re: 12v Power Socket

Hello and welcome FarnboroughAndy :) , can I direct you to the same subject about the 12v socket and the implications of leaving your dash cam plugged in.https://www.konaforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=288. I have had a KonaEV since Oct '20 and I love it. But...my 12v battery went flat  ...

Hello Pasty, can I refer you to a post back in May 2021.viewtopic.php?f=16&t=294. It covers the same scenario you are experiencing. I hope it helps.

Re: Bluelink app

Hi Sparktletts, I'm sorry I can't help you there, I have known some of the functions stop working on my Android version, eg notifications of status not arriving then start working again. Also if you read back on this topic I had problems with scheduled charging...not anymore :) It started working an...

Re: Greetings from Kent, UK

Hello Taffy, I have a 2020 Kona EV 64kwh premium with voice activated sat nav...or so it seemed :? If you press the voice activation button on the steering wheel it brings up the screen for voice commands, phone calls are not a problem but trying to get the sat nav to work is a challenge which I hav...

Re: Error codes/faults

Hi Stark, I have just been looking on tinternet and poc17 is a motor position sensor fault, but I assume you have found the same thing. I't's not a fault I've come across, in fact, touch wood, I've not experienced any faults at all. It's good that you have posted it here though, maybe someone else h...
