Re: Cold Start Engine 'rattle' (1.0)

Years ago my Son had a work placement with that chain, and he said then that their after-sales service was rubbish - they just didn't care. Bought my current Ioniq from them; the car hasn't had many problems and the few it had were sorted quickly. However, they have to be chased since they don't ret...

Re: Kona Electric Forum

I agree in principle. Since the mechanics of the EV and ICE versions are dissimilar, most of the issues which might arise for ICE versions will not be applicable. However, problems concerning dealerships, delivery dates, radios, bodywork, wheels brakes and tyres will be common to both. I'm guessing,...

Re: Cold Start Engine 'rattle' (1.0)

Hi Bartstilgo,
Where is this less than helpful dealer?
My Kona is due to be delivered to my dealer next week.
Hope you get better service from your new dealer of choice.

What features would you like in your next Kona?

We're waiting for my Kona EV to arrive - due in September I have been told. I currently have the Ioniq Electric and I'm only changing to the Kona for the greater range it offers. I've compared the features of the Kona EV with my Ioniq, and they're pretty much on a par. However, there is one glaring ...

Re: Navigation Options

You should be able to change the orientation of the map.
Can you see a symbol on the left side (eg "N" or an arrow or maybe the compass symbol)?
Press it.

Email update from Hyundai for those waiting for a new Kona EV

Hyundai have just said their testing of the EV range for the new Kona was wrong. They've now reduced the expected mileage to 279 miles. :( I have the option to cancel my order without penalty. It's disappointing that the "holy grail" target of 300miles is actually further away now, but it's still 14...

Re: Auto Start and Stop

Ah - just had a second thought. I made an assumption that the OP had a Kona EV, and was referring to the Auto-Hold feature. However, if the OP is using ICE, then he may indeed be referring to the Start-Stop feature, which the EV variant (and my Ioniq) does not have. In which case my response was tot...
