There should be a label on your door pillar, it is specific to your car and not a page full of data covering all possible models

VWs front parking sensors come on at less than 5mph, if your sensors keep going off in stop start traffic then you are too close to the car in front

I made the mistake (?) of ordering the Smart Sense package which despite the dealers assurances had to be a factory order. My delay was initially going to be about twelve weeks, now it looks like 5 months!

My company Golf's sensors come on below 5mph. Sometimes disconcerting when they beep while you are crawling past a badly parked car for instance. You can switch them off, but the next time you switch on the ignition they are working again, probably like all good safety features should
