Re: Greetings to all you Kona fans. :)
Thank you and the same to you. It is comforting to know you like the brand and have stayed with it for so long, and I hope you have no reason to change.

Re: Auto Hold and lane assist
I sympathise with Rangefinder. Narrow roads, cycle lanes and keeping close to the verge when big lorries pass all cause the beeps. Some times I wish it was just one beep instead of three. It is something I put up with though. I believe there are three settings to L.A. Off, normal and active.

Re: Usb port overheating mobile phone
Hard to say what the problem might be. I am not an expert but it sounds as if the usb is pushing too much power. Check the power requirements for your phone against the power output of the usb port.

My Mrs has an iPhone and we connect it to the car via a cable. It was an easy jo, even for a numpty like me. Our car is a SE so it dose not have built in satnav or HUD so we use Waze. Everything seems fine.

Hi Cactus.... We love our Kona. We bought ours in December last year and I am still learning all the gizmos and settings. I was reading the manual again yesterday checking on something. One thing I did do that you may want to think about is to raise the passenger seat one inch to give a better ride ...

Wipers that self-park after the engine is turned off. Our 14 year old Corsa did that so it can't be that difficult.
Also Miles to Kilometres function.

Re: Cold Start Engine 'rattle' (1.0)
I can tell you are not happy. I am getting 49 mpg on average with E10 fuel which I think is very good. Driving on empty French roads helps. Maybe your poor consumption and the tappet noise are connected. Either way it is shameful how the dealer is treating you. I bet the were very accommodating when...

Hi BartStilgo.. Sorry to hear about your problem with your Kona. I see over 60 people have viewed this post with no reply. I can only assume that no one else has came across this problem. I have not come across this problem with our Kona and the only advise I can offer is to pursue the dealer. On a ...

Hi Mikeg, We are very pleased with our Kona SE. It was pre-owned with with 1,000 miles on the clock. We have had no problems and find it a vast improvement over our last car (a 2004 Vauxhall Corsa 1.2). I find it comfortable, responsive and above all, economical. I fill up with E10 fuel and the road...
