I have gone through many Hyundai, Tucson, Matrix i20, i30 and an i40. So my latest purchase is a used Kona Premium. I am really impressed with the car, its 2018 with 20,000 miles.
After driving for a few weeks I have developed an annoying knock/tap/creak. It seems to be coming from the dashboard by the windscreen. I've eliminated the wipers as the cause, as the noise continues when they are on and its not the blowers.
I've tried to hold parts of the dash down as I drive but that's not exactly practical or particularly safe.
Some bumps cause the noise, others glide over silently. Could be more of a sideways action that triggers it..... but I could be paranoid.
Be grateful of any ideas or similar experiences and possible fixes before I take it back.
Thanks in advance
