Auto Dim Satnav Screen

Hi All

I have a 2021 Kona 48v MHEV

I’m really happy with the car so much to say it’s probably the best car I’ve driven for a long time.

There is one thing however that really frustrates me, and the dealer seems unable to help.

On bright sunny days when driving and you go into a tunnel or shade from trees etc the main info screen for satnav etc dims to the point you cannot see it as it’s that dark. I understand why this happens at night but there doesn’t seem to be a setting that you can turn this off during the day.

I’ve seen settings online but I think this is for the USA market not UK

Does anyone know if there is a setting I’ve missed ?
