Hi just taken delivery of new Kona Question about DRL’S. I’ve noticed that sometimes when coming to a stop the DRL’s have gone out. (Stop start was not active) I set off again and they come back. Stop again they stay on. Stop again there off again. I’m thinking something faulty.
As far as I've noticed mine stay on constantly, regardless of start stop, pretty sure they shouldn't be turning off at all whilst you are driving as long as they are set to on, this is the case with all my previous cars aswell. However if you've got air con on full power the radio on and charging your phone it may well have a setting that turns them off.
That's cleared that up then! Was trying to work out out today but couldn't quite nail it. Must be purely for battery preservation, start stop more likely to be active when handbrake is on.
I wonder if they generate to much heat when standing?
I came from ceed 4 tech had both headlights changed
under warranty when drl lights failed , then on day selling the
car one went again !!
