Hi, I collected my Kona Electric on 2nd Sep.
I have recently owned a number of supposed premier brands like BMW 1 Series, Mercedes SLC and Jaguar E Pace and have to say that I believe it's a first class piece of kit. Let's hope the longer term ownership experience matches my first impressions. Certainly so far it exceeds the initial experience with the others already.
I waited for quite a while before going electric and said for a few years that when a car comes along with good You Tube reviews and especially can travel from Plymouth to Bristol Airport and back without having to recharge it along the way then I'm in. Certainly the choice gets better year by year and You Tube reviews of the Kona convinced me that now was the time to go electric.
It was not the saving on fuel cost that interested me but the prospect of not contributing to the toxic traffic fumes in my city. Consequently I have also benefited from the electric driving experience in a number of ways which you are all aware of, not least of which is 'filling it up' overnight in my garage. Magic!

I have to agree, the fit and finish is right up there with so called premium brands.
However, as I have said before, it is the little things that make the experience. Cheap fixes like global closure of the windows or one touch on all four windows. Parking sensors that activate automatically at low speed, headlights that come on if it is raining. I believe it is these things that truly separate Premium from the norm.
