I have just received a safety recall to have the Electronic Stability Program Software updated. I haven't had any issues, it looks like Hyundai getting ahead of the curve. Anybody out there had the same recall notice?

To do with the software on the battery pack and the fact that around the world some of the cars had been catching fire!!

Our hybrid Kona is booked in on Monday. The garage advised that it would take an hour, we’ll see.
Coincidentally, a neighbour with a Citroen has been recalled for the same issue. His garage will collect his car, upgrade the software and return all within 4 - 5 hours. We have to take the Kona and wait......

I wasn't given the option of waiting......they said it could take up to 4 hours.

I was given a courtesy car...but it was a manual i10!! Was a nearly new one though. But once again car not washed or valeted.
