Hi all
First post here...
I have recently taken delivery of a 160kW Ultimate 65kWh 5dr Auto [Lux Pack].
I was looking forward to being able to use auto parallel and reverse parking, but it doesnt seem to be available in this car! Is this a limitation of all UK EV Konas, or is there something I need to do to enable it?
I've followed the process I have seen on youtube etc, but only get the option to get out of the car and use the fob to move the car forwards/backwards and not to select a parking type.
Cheers.
Auto parking?
It doesn't have any auto park facilities, the only system it has is the 'option to get out of the car and use the fob to move the car forwards/backwards' as you mention. That applies to all cars that have the facility.

Oh. Is this just a UK thing? I saw plenty of write ups and YouTube videos showing this capability. Is there any reason why it's not enabled? All the hardware appears to be there.
As far as I'm aware it is not on any of the cars globally. I know the Toyota CH-R has it but I've never seen any Kona video (and I watched hundreds before buying) showing such a feature on a Kona.

Maybe I'm just being a idiot then! The ionic 6 can do it, so hopefully hyundai might bring it through a software change.
Surprised me that it did not have this too (same spec). The all round camera and sensors do make parking quite easy though.
I have tried the forward / reverse option in an empty car park, but not had to use it in anger. Not planning on getting into a space that tight, but may need to get out of one so need to check I can do that if the car was not parked in that mode
