A pillar airbag

There are some excellent guides to fitting a dashcam to a Kona online showing a neat route to hardwire down to the fuse box. However there are concerns about crossing the A pillar at the top because there is an airbag at that point. The online workshop manual does not show curtain airbags at that point. Can anyone confirm whether UK cars have an airbag at that point? Crossing lower down is more unsightly. Alternatively, are there any other solutions?

I have fitted a dash cam and it is no problem to pass the wires down the windscreen pillar as long as you do not obstruct the airbag that is inside. The inside panel comes off easily so have a look your self and see. There is plenty of room and the airbags are in a neat package. Ensure the ignition is off. As always, this is just my humble opinion, continue at your own risk.
