A few minutes into driving I get the message "Online data available. Traffic channel will be changed” on the map display, and then it colour codes road traffic conditions. It must be retrieving live traffic conditions but where from and what is "traffic channel"?

if it is same as petrol kona ,the online updates come
from your hotspot mobile data on your mobile phone.
