According to some recent reports the Hyundai Kona could face some delays due to a worker dispute at its Korean factory.

According to the local media, the Hyundai Kona’s production is due to start at the Ulsan Plant 1. The workers are not happy that Hyundai decided to outsource the car’s bumpers in order to maximise the efficiency of production and increase the vehicle’s quality, but that was strongly opposed by the workers who wanted it to remain part of the assembly line. A company official has told the publication that the production has come to a halt.

Here is hoping the dispute can be resolved before full production is started.

Wonder what the news on this one is, or was. I mean, I'm glad that we got the details we got about the Kona and stuff. But to be honest, and kind of blunt? I wonder about the worker's rights there. Becuase I know a lot of companies were outsourcing their work, and I wonder how the Koreans of all ppl dealt with it.
