Granny charger

I there any reason why it could be inadvisable to use at home only the granny charger as the company that installs chargers for the concern I am leasing from will not fit a charger in the only place it can go? There is no reason for this expect that the building is about 250 years old and they think it might fall down.

Hello and welcome . The only thing I could think of would be the consumer unit, is it up to date or not Does it have a breaker suitable for the wiring. I live in a converted rural primary skool that dates from circa 1850's and this ain't going to fall down
