Hello,

Always follow the maintenance schedule found in your users manual.

Dealership service department will always up sell you on stuff you do not need yet.

Also, unless the manual calls for full synthetic - just use conventional oil. As long as you change your oil at the manufacturer's defined intervals, you should be fine.

In addition.

The oil change intervals defined by Hyundai are so conservative that buying full synthetic is not economical. Follow what the manual says in regards to oil specs.

As with all my previous cars I've bought at least a three year service plan which saves money in the long run.

Just ordered mine for 3 years with an MOT thrown in for £523.02

So... £174.34 per annum

These service plans include labour, filters and oils for the services, it does not include wear and tear items such as tires and brakes.
