I have a manual transmission, mild hybrid Kona with electronic brake. On the 4 occasions that I have needed to start on a steep hill, I have experienced serious rollback as the auto hold disengages when the clutch is depressed but before the 'biting point' is reached for forward movement. On inclines that are less steep this is not so noticeable as I compensate by revving quite highly and getting to the biting point quickly. Has anyone else noticed this? The exact same problem with hill starts and the loss of power at low revs in second gear (which we also experience) were reported in 2019 by Seat Ateca owners - both were found to be a software issue.
