First ev

Brought my first ev, a 2020 kona.
Had it 3 week so far, but I was on holiday for 2 weeks.
Its all new to me.

Not sure what driving mode it should be on or what the most mpg type of driving.

Am I best to charge to 80 % everytime I home charge ?
Got a pod point 3 fitted.

Any info or advice would be appreciated

I have mine in Eco mode for 95% of the time and this is what I think it defaults to.....and should give best range. Am averaging 4.4miles per KWh.

I charge to 100% most of the time....because I am likely to be doing a long journey....I am at 42,500 miles after 3 years and 4 months of ownership.

Mine is a 2020 model as well.

Thank you for the reply, have you always charged it to 100% ?
I charged mine to 80% last week but will be charging it to 100 next time.
So far I am really happy with the car and will be looking to get my wife one also.

Yes I have always charged it to 100% or nearly that. Sometimes I stop the charge after it has got past 90%. It depends on my next journey. But a lot of my miles are motorway miles and I charge at the start or st the end and so want to have a ‘full tank’ to make sure I can do the journey without the need to stop and charge on the way.
