My Premium GTI had it's 2nd yearly device on Jan 8th. The map update procedure stopped the Head Unit controls working correctly.

The dealer has ordered a replacement head unit and pulled the fuse so the car is usable but with no infotainment, satnav or rear-view camera.

I had heard nothing since, so contacted the dealer yesterday to discover that delivery of the new unit is expected on April 8th. That is a delay of 14 weeks!

Not happy.

A quick update - the head unit arrived on Friday and was fitted yesterday. 3 weeks and 2 days is much better than 14 weeks, but still much too long imho!
