Having to use manual key to get into car

Hi
2 mornings running I have had to use the manual key to get into my Kona Hybrid. After pressing the 12v battery reset and getting spooked by the alarm, the car starts and runs okay for the rest of the day including stopping and leaving the car numerous times and re-entering using the fob.
Any thoughts, is it something I’m doing or a known fault?
The service department said they can’t comment until they have a look a it.
