Hyundai Motor Co. announced the launch of Kona aimed at the global SUV market with more than 400 people including Hyundai Motors Vice Chairman of Hyundai Motor Center and General Manager of Hyundai Design Center, Jeong Luk Dongkol Volke.

The global compact SUV Kona has been developed to enhance the competitiveness of the rapidly growing SUV market and to provide value beyond what customers truly want to reflect the lifestyle and needs of changing customers.

You know it's a little bit smaller than thought it would be. When I picture an SUV I think of big American style cars. The kind whre they tower over you a little bit. I guess that's why they call them sub compact huh?
