I have had my kona , coming up 5yrs , just had it serviced at main dealer.
It is my understanding that the service comes with a further 12 months
aa cover , but how do you know if you are covered ?
Bit late to find out on side of a motorway !!
Anyone got a insight into this ?

Check the cover details. Most of these "free" services are only "repair at roadside" and may not include recovery or onward destination cover or other services you receive with a fully paid subscription.

I've just googled it and found this...

https://www.hyundaifinance.co.uk/media/ ... stance.pdf

I'm guessing that's what you're referring to ??

Looking at the small print at the bottom it says that Accident Cover and Home Start are NOT covered though !!!

Your dealer should have notified Hyundai and they should have send you the Roadside assist confirmation. Contact your dealer who serviced the car and ask if they forwarded the service info to Hyundai.
I recently changed Reg no on my car and phoned Hyundai support on 0800 981 981 and they had all details of roadside assist. They were really helpful and said that to be 100% sure ring the roadside assist telephone number and they would confirm if you are covered or not.
Hope this helps.

Ring the AA, give them your registration number and they will say yes/no. I have done it in the past.
